Climb ever mountain till you find your dream
We climbed 2 no more!!
We where in Florence by mistake then went to Firenzuola, by chance and it was fantastic. We set of from Certaldo to go to San Giamano but it was full, for campers , then Auntie Apple sent us into the centre Of Florence, Instead of to the autostrada, much laughter on a busy Sunday afternoon . Two Lost lady campers , and what was even worse is that in the beginning we did not know we where in Florence .
We decided we had enough of the Autostrada and went onto the back roads, what a climb, we went up and up to the Futa camp on the Futa pass near Firenzuola , what a camping on top of the world and the second night we had the best pitch in town and a great sunset.
We met lovely English people from Leeds of course, he excused me for being a Manchunian and even washed all our windows the next morning before he left .Thanks Terry
He bought a second hand camper , 8 weeks ago, 2 years old with 1,200 on the clock , what a beauty, but we love our oldies and they just make it up the mountains .
Maaikje wanted to visit Sirmione on the lake Garde so we took the Autostrade Ugh!!
It was so hot unbearable so , on the camping that in the evening we walked
from our camping to the old village with thousands of others , had a meal and an ijsje
The next morning for me a quick dip then decisions time
To the mountains and again we found our dream, overlooking Lake Iseo a tip from other fellow countrymen of mine, the British one! Now I have two 👍
We stayed 3 nights doing nothing, of course I swam a lot and we sat watching the view
i would like to explore the area more one day
Then a stormy day-so we kept driving to Lana near Merano
Then over de Riessen pass with a stop at Lake Reisa
Then Imst the same camping as 9 May but oh dear full but place for us
We really did travel at a good time
Now it is so different every where
Then I led Marijke over a mountain instead of to the Ferne pass OMG, 2770 metres to the top, and we almost ran out of puff in our dear campers.
A wonder Marijke still talks to me , but what a ride
The photo is coffee stop after the summit
More photos on my camera
We drove on and recovered in quiet camper parking Last night
Now as I write on the 25 June you and we are melting in 37 degrees and no shade so we have decided to keep moving to home, better for us and the four footers
Hoping to stop in Kleve (Kleef) at Flo on the way
It is hotter than Puglia and no cooling Adriatic wind
Home sweet home soon after a superb trip with Marijke, Fein, Flor and Jolly, A dream come true
Thanks Marijke
Hope to see you soon, perhaps on The 16th of July?
