Rain rain go away !!!!

We started in rain and finished in a downpour.

14.30 Stena line here we come, 1.5 hours from Amsterdam, a huge luxury Liner !!!

Special airco kennels for Lady P, 16 euros extra comfort for Annie and Pat (NO MUSIC) free wine .

Couple of visits to Lady P who was in a quiet spot with another older dog, brought back with a couple from Australia.

21.00 Soft berthing, had to wait but no body checks - thank goodness as we didn't declare Miss P to the UK customs.

After a 1.5 hours of motorway with hold ups and pouring rain,  we hit the narrow lanes of Suffolk - the pouring rain  had now turned into a mega monsoon. Fortunately no traffc, fortunately for them I could not back in the dark. Arrived safely in Great Glemham  - Church Yard still alive.  We disembarked car into huge puddles of mud,  Lady P had to wade and swim to cottage. I was completely tired but very proud that I'd managed to drive all the way, so had to leave it all to Annie. She took charge, packed all the bags and disappeared in the dark returning with house key, wet jeans and a big smile .

We ran and splashed to Hilary's cottage. Home sweet home and a double vodka.

Hilary plus baby Poppy and mother Kate arrived, from London, after about half an hour and all the girls had a drink and went to bed.
