Life goes on Oblada oblada

Thank you all for your good wishes . Just before my birthday I had no plans for once in my life ! La la However Ellen invited me to join her and Anne civile in Noorden at the Watergeus. they where on a bicycle trip from Gorsell to Den Hague and this was one of their watering holes. . What a wonderful day we had mucking about on the river/lake them a super diner en plein aire after. The news from Annie that Penny was not so well was very upsetting but she was in the best hands so I returned home this morning after an early dip in the lake. Penny has water on the lungs but thanks to Annie and Christina's prompt action she is now being treated. A 5.00 I go to see the vet to hear what can be done for her without her suffering. Oh my heart is breaking but after 16 years one day our unconditional love will have to be a memory.  Not yet I hope, this was to be our summer., no work no worries no pain. Enough of that on my return to Herengracht at 1.00 today I found the fairies or Lepracorns  had been visiting.  See photo Annie and Christina had given me the most wonderful garden present, chairs to sit in to watch my vegetables grow in my garden ....with a friend.  I am dumbfounded and happy, not only that butTwo days ago Mickey had given me a wonderful album full of memories of the preparation for my 60 th, birthday in the Gers what a piece of art, so now on the day afterer all these emotions here is sit in my most original garden chairs I have ever seen, browsing through my album , with a bowl of sunflowers and a cup of tea next to me. Typing away dyslectic that I am on my 65 birthday I pad.    Beat that at 66. I promise I will send you my Italian recipes soon... One more piece of news you will I know enjoy. Patric is continuing on here with his cooking school. We even plan to give a hands on course together for 55 plus ( or workless ) a lunchtime event once or twice a month.
