Time is told by the chef. With his wonderful meals. We have become addicted, it is all so delicious. We even don't want to eat "aan de wall" for the English "in port"

Every day is still so different and every new bay we visit a surprise . The silhouette of the  background of the rugged coast which suddenly unfolds into beautiful bays, some with tiny beaches, some with small ruins and then the beautiful turquoise water, to swim in. The day before yesterday we played swimming formations, yesterday we swam to a deserted shore, then later went searching for cockles Barbara had found earlier amongst the rocks, but they had all gone to sleep.
We got a few, which chef will put in the spaghetti for lunch.
He is a good creative,  pure talented chef, very like most chefs happy in his own world when he is cooking. I feel like that to. His kitchen is tiny but produces delicious dishes out of nowhere. He works very disciplined and tidily and with super fresh ingredients
. Further the captain is a charming , a happy man, owner of the ship. Then I would be happy too. With his  40 experience in the trade, he runs the ship with an iron hand, the crew are mainly studying at sea school to be captains too, they have a good teacher. The sea can be a tempestuous lady, and one to be respected. At meal times the boys willingly serve our every need with great big smiles on their faces.
Days are spent , chatting sometimes with this person, sometimes with others sometimes in groups, it just sort of flows, then suddenly everyone is happily lying on the back deck cushions reading , or then suddenly all busy chatting together, it all sort of flows over. To  my delight, we have a small bridge club, where we discuss the hands afterwards. My partner Gerard and his fried Fons, both studied with Zwaan , as I did. Gerard is fantastic with the theory and a lot of what I learned is now returning from somewhere in my fuzzy brain. Neeltje , Jan's sister plays with Fons and they are very determined to beat us, all in all great fun. We must also not become to addicted, but hopefully we may play together sometimes in Amsterdam.
Amsterdam . Oh how far away you seem, but now you are drawing closer. We are homeward bound and guess what it is raining. All are sleeping now, but I sit on deck , where all the beautiful white mattresses are covered up and piled up around me. I just got a coffee from the chef, lovely the still early morning hours. . As yet the weather does not look so promising but even the rain on the turquoise sea in our bay, has something special. Until now, we have been so lucky, it is after all still May. It was beautiful, fresh but hot and sunny, the water warm enough to swim in, though the captain, says he only swims next month. ! Mad dogs !!! And English men. Again.

I have become reacquainted with many of Jan and Sjerry's friends and have met some wonderful new people. Jan has been my rock of wisdom in my life in LCF, introduced to me by Julliet Debus in the 1978/79  before I even had the Cuisine. I truly believe that without is help, as one of my advisor, his patience and advice have been unmissable,  life would have been much  more difficult and I might not even  have got so far, without his tricks of the trade.   Jullie is also on board and. My camper friend Barbara.
So it is a very warm nest and great fun too.
