Chianti and Tuscany

Yes we are still on the road but wifi is difficult , the campings have it but maybe tomorrow it works, milk no tomorrow , bread maybe . wonderful 

Since we last spoke we have stayed in some wonderful places with great viwes, all ratehr rural, but those who know me know this is what I love . . I am now on my I pad so maybe no photos this time. My computer has given up. maybe too shaken up on the italian roads. Even the autostrade is like this. After Garda and the vineyard we continued on towards Borghetto, an overnight stop without electricity real camping. Then on through Mantua onto the autostrade and southwards to chianti. Pia had found a super camping Panoramic in Certaldo. Here we stayed for 5 nights, one day was spent watching a ratehre unreliable You tube on the 30 th. We missed being with you all in Amsterdam.  Historic moment. In Certaldo I met up with Judy Witts a culinary firend via my international culinary proffesional club. She and her husband took us out

, in a car! On a trip of the area including a great lunch, returning to the camp at 6.30. We spent the evenening gazing out over nature. One night I made a delicious steal florentine , on thr Cob serv with rucola, olive oil and parmesan cheese, a good glass of chianti . The day was complete. Every day remains a suprise, even today we do not know what we are doing yet. 

But I am ahead of myself.

We joined Judy in Panzano on the 2 may for a tasting in the well know marcelleria, like visiting a pop star. Just imagine going to the butcher and being offered wine a crostini with lardo, fennel sausages , bread and olive oil.
