Hoi an continued

The night before. On arriving at the school, we could help ourselves to the most delicious breakfast. Small fried pancakes in a poffertjes sort of pan was our favourite. Then to the market, we learned about the fresh herbs , the sex of crabs, five spice mix, vegetables and fruit, then to a hands on lesson. Very well done, we made cabbage soup, fried pancakes with chicken, mago salad using a great slicer, which we got to take home, barbecued chicken skewers. All very delicious and interesting. We loved it. Next day culture to my son , please read Patenellen for this ? I could hardly move at the end of the guided tour, thank God for my walking stick. And a helping hand now and then. The last night we ate at Mago our favourite coffee adress on the harbour. I had super red snapper with !mangoes, against my principles but delicious , oh what a lovely place full of colours. I even lit a floating candle in memory of Penny .all by all Hoi An was spec, a small village port with the bustle of every day life of the village people , and then all the tourists. I even bought a silk jacket for 28 euros, all part of the fun. Everyday , every place is so different Nha Trang as Ellen said a city with a beach, a beautiful promenade , a great restaurant called the saing club was our pad for 2 days. We lay in the sun and ate for 1 day, did a very interesting visit to the alexander Yesrin clinic, a pupil of Pasteur fascinating. Tomorrow to Dahlat in the mountains, hopefully more nature but possibly very cold again. Today was also chilly Vietnam in winter has very varied weather but maybe good as when it is hot it is bloody hot. Saigon in 3 days time. Much love from fascinating Vietnam
