Life at the lake

Well i wrote you 2 pages this morning but only sent 3 lines.just as well I was going on a bit.  About being english , the neighbours came here expecting an open roof on Helenes car, water temprature 25 degrees and sun , they got snow blizzards , rain and a lake featured in Wild swimming places in France a fantastic book at 25 degrees in the summer at 10 degrees even ellen and I did not venture. I,love their optimism and there being English... homesick !!! We will see.... Great couple he spent one night 30 minutes haunched over a small pan over a small fire and here is me with my whole equip.  One thing I know I have to cook. I love the impromptu cooking at the camper, specially if I have an appreciative audience like Pia and Ellen.tonight alone , sphagehetti from Italy , sausage from savooie, tartufi from Perugia, mushrooms from Holland !!!  Wne from the rhone and an evening light to die for. Ellen and I have been here since Saturday a small technical hiccup on the way but the wonderful Italians helped us at 2 different garages and we cannot pay. Unlike the ......We have toured the lake , gone over the mountains to Thon, taken a boat to Annecy and got absolutely drenched , even hagel. That night I stayed at her Gite. We had a wonderful 13 days together and like my time with Pia it flew by.Now 3 days with my ( adopted grand children) fantastic, saturday on the road via Bourgogne , then to Jose my first camping maatje , 2 days with her then homeward bound to family friends and my life.....PATTYS WAGONS STAYS  you all agree. One decision less . Now the next real big one ...... Stay  tuned
